On the southern tip of Colombias Coffee Heart, halfway between the departmental capitals of
Armenia (Quindio) and Pereira (Risaralda) lies the picturesque tourist pueblo of Salento. Ten
minutes walk from Salento down a steep muddy track once walked by Simon Bolivar lies the
small coffee farm "Finca Don Eduardo".

"Finca Don Eduardo" has been a working coffee farm for over 80 years. Over this period the
ownership has changed several times, the varietals of Arabica coffee that have been grown
has changed, but the commitment and dedication to grow a really great coffee has remained
unchanged.

The current owners, Englishman Tim Harbour, and his Colombian wife Cristina
purchased "Finca Don Eduardo" in May 2008 and immediately embarked upon an ambitious
program of renovation of the infrastructure and the coffee grown on the farm.

This renovation program is now complete and "Finca Don Eduardo" is now in a position to
offer to coffee aficionados all over the world a new and unique service.

Coffee Plant Leasing is a revolutionary new concept in the distribution of coffee that enables
you not only to purchase your coffee direct from the coffee farm that grows it, but to specify
the varietal of Arabica coffee your prefer..

The idea itself is extremely simple.

You lease a row of coffee plants on our Finca on a yearly basis. You choose the quantity and
the varietal of Arabica coffee you would like to lease.

Our experienced staff will look after the coffee for you.

We will feed the coffee when it needs it - organic fertilizer of course. ) and generally ensure
your coffee plants are healthy, pick the coffee beans, wash and dry the coffee for you.

After that if you like we will send you the green beans for you to roast yourself.

Or

If you prefer we will roast the coffee to your specification, put the coffee in export grade bags
and send you YOUR PERSONNAL COFFEE.
